Sales dollars or units sold per person is a productivity measure. So we want to measure improvements in productivity, which is increasing output (the numerator in the measure) using the same of fewer resources (the denominator).

Why not per full time person equivalent. If you have a chart with the total hours and if your regular week is 40 hours.. then divide per 40 for your person equivalent.
